The FD-1 type sludge cleaner not only recovers tank sediment sludge but also collects floating sludge without using a bag filter in the filtration element. In bag filter types, sludge collection begins in the bag, and as sludge gradually accumulates in the bag, the sludge suction capacity decreases proportionally, which can lead to clogging in the suction hose, making suction impossible. The FD-1 type maintains its initial suction capacity regardless of the amount of sludge accumulated in the sludge recovery bucket, ensuring that there is no clogging in the suction hose. Generally, wire mesh basket types have an overflow at the top of the basket to maintain this initial suction capacity, which makes it impossible to collect floating sludge. Even if floating sludge is suctioned, it escapes from the top of the wire mesh basket, preventing the collection of sludge in the basket. The FD-1 type enables the collection of floating sludge without allowing this overflow.
